Reliable employees
The PRO-GLUE employment base is an extremely reliable one. Our staff cover a wide range with respect to both age and experience. The majority of our staff has been employed with us for a number of years.
Ethical trading
Ethical trading principles also play an important role with respect to CSR. And we strive to establish a set of ethical trading principles which emphasises sound work-place policies, which is in compliance with the local and environmental guidelines and regulations in force where we operate.
PRO-GLUE’s reputation and brand are based on trust. Bribery and corruption in any shape will undermine such trust: It will obstruct social and economic development as well as undermine the concept of fair competition.
The aspect of ethical trade exerts an influence on many aspects of our business, such as e.g.:
- Work-place behaviour
- Positive working environment
- Health and safety at the workplace
- The abolition of all kinds of forced labour and efficient abolition of child labour.
- Our employees or others representing us shall not be involved in any kind of bribery or corruption, neither in the public or private sector. No employee shall be allowed to provide or promise to make any payment or transfer of anything of value (comprising the provision of any kind of service, gift or entertainment) to government employees or other civil servants for the purpose of wrongfully obtaining or retaining a business relationship or for the purpose of wrongfully achieving any other objective or business advantage.
We do not accept facilitation payments – i.e. payments made to secure or expedite routinely made governmental legislative actions, such as the issuing of permits, even though such payments be made as nominal sums.
